- You have to place an online request using National Voters’ Service Portal https://www.nvsp.in/.
- If you do not have an account, click on the Register Now button at the bottom of the login screen.
- Here you want to make changes to your Voter ID or family, select the option.
- Select the self option to change the address on your voter ID card, otherwise select family.
- Select whether you are going within your constituency or outside your constituency.
Now Form 6 will open in front of you. Here you have to enter your current location, address, constituency, and other details.
Also, you will be asked to enter your personal information, postal address, permanent address, etc.
Once everything is filled, upload your photo along with your proof of address and age.
Fill out the self declaration at the end of Form 6, enter the captcha and submit the request.
After submitting the request, you will get the confirmation.
After the change is made, a new voter ID will be given to your current address.
